Springhill Notice Board ready to use

Springhill Noticeboard – information & general rules for use These rules refer to the noticeboard sited at the corner of Park Road green put in place at the request of the Springhill Residents Group. 1. Use of the noticeboard is intended for Springhill residents; use by other parties requires approval by designated members of the Springhill Residents Group committee (‘the committee’). 2. The noticeboard is locked to avoid misuse or vandalism; the keyholder may be contacted for access via the website www.springhillresidents.com (or as covered by point 7 below) 3. Use of the noticeboard is FREE however the committee politely requests that users opt to participate in the Springhill Roads Events for the duration that their notice is displayed (details on the website above) 4. Submissions for notices (max size A4 when printed) should ideally be sent via email (.pdf or .jpeg) to Residents Committee secretary neil.mccrorie249@btinternet.com; hard copy submissions may also be accepted by arranged request via the website contact form or other means available 5. Approval of submissions will be subject to the discretion of the committee; in general, these should be of benefit to Springhill residents; the following examples are a guide: - Local small businesses offering services or products - Forthcoming local events / activities - News from local community groups - Announcements / information relating to health & safety or environment-related matters 6. Placement of notices / advertisements: once approved the committee will arrange a mutually convenient time for placement with the submitting party 7. Other rules and limitations: - The committee reserves the right to refuse to approve submissions it considers to be offensive, illegal, or in any other way unsuitable, and no correspondence shall be entered into in such cases - The committee may also remove posted notices at any time in order to make space for new entries or for any other reason - The committee can accept no responsibility nor liability for any misrepresentations or consequences claimed by those posting or responding to notices or advertisements placed in the noticeboard
